Christmas Snowfall 2009
Take a trip thru the snow-covered landscape ... see the snow that covered the Mid-Atlantic region in December 2009 just before Christmas. Quiet and forlorn, grey and gloomy, the frozen tundra shot in and around North Beach, Maryland while the snow was still falling and during the aftermath the following day or two ... still, the spark of Christmas, at times, shines thru ... perhaps there's something meaningful here. We decorate our homes and towns with colored lights to chase away the early wintry darkness and to prepare for the celebration on the 25th, but then the skies darken and the wind whips cold and two feet of fresh powder are dumped down from above upon us all ...
